Saban loses coaches every year and he replaces them with top guys.  gaggies played four teams with a winning record and one of those (Auburn) fired their coach.  They played at least four teams that fired their coaches.  And they lost by 4 touchdowns to Alabama.   I'm not sure they are catching up with Alabama because he has to go find the next offensive coordinator.
I will give you a nickle if you can find 3 teams (Excluding bowl game) that aggy played this year with a winning record.Outside of the bowl game again, aggy only played ONE team that lost less than 4 games....secsecsec....stand for Soooo Easy Conference!....

Saban was 34-24-1 at Michigan State. Lucky for LSU they did not care when they hired him... The rest is history.
Good point.

I really want to believe that CDC, Hartzell, and the BMDs did their due diligence on Sark. It's make or break for everyone involved. Hopefully, the 3rd time's the charm.

he flamed out at USC, but his run at U of Washington was a reclaim from the dead. He probably did as well there as anyone could have. I didnt like the Strong hire, but I drank the koolaide. I liked the Herman hire, but I feel really, really good about this hire. He was my hope for if the UM deal didnt go through.

I have been an idiot before though ( see herman hire above)

oh he’s a rocky long guy... sign me up

Joey sounds like an idiot.

ESPN college football analyst Joey Galloway is critical of the decision-makers at the University of Texas, who he says haven't given coaching staffs time to develop talent and may have pulled the plug too soon on respective regimes under Charlie Strong and Tom HermanThe Longhorns fired Herman on Saturday and named Alabama OC Steve Sarkisian their new head coach, citing a need to head in a different direction.

Big updates from IT, Offensive staff seems done. Ash is less likely he could be going to Arizona. Bo Davis seems in, list of smoke on Tosh, Hutzler is getting a hard look, Gideon is being considered, Corey Raymond is a possibility, we are looking for a DC
Based on development over the season, I'd be down for keeping Hutzler. If Davis and Lupoi don't pan out, I hope Giles gets a look. I know people aren't happy with his recruiting chops, but Orlando's scheme didn't do him any favors. Giles plain and simply knows how to develop D-linemen.

Per brainiacs, Odom is staying put.

Arnett at Miss St is a backup plan.

Still thinks UT and Muschamp are doing the forbidden dance.
