Is there any chance for Texas to persuade him to stay? 

We will have another try for him once the OSU season is over or after. I heard he wants to try to make it at QB, but is then is open to moving  to another position. There are a number of players in the portal because they don't want to play for Herman.. A new coach and they might be back. As far as Ja'Quinden  It would depend on the new coaches' offensive coordinator and the type of offense .
 
The problem is that we signed the top two QBs in the state last year. The usual outcome is one of them transfers. Hopefully, we will keep the best one. Sam said the team's nickname for Hudson Card is 'Golden Boy' and that he came of the womb throwing spirals and Yurcich said he's a special talent.
 
The good news is that there will be free agency this off season, so if we hire the right coach then we can fill holes to contend next year. I would imagine an Urban Meyer would excite players on other teams that are not happy where they are. That's my hope is that we can contend next year with a new coach and players transferring to UT.

IT mentioned today that a young DB may transfer now that Texas signed McNeese State grad transfer DB Darion Dunn on Wednesday.

After watching many games this year, I now belive Offense is what wins big games.

Who ever calls plays next year I hope goes all out in playbook and whatever is working stay  with it till it is stopped. Fla. big problem with Ala. last nite.

Barring injuries and if have spring practice next year should be better. If QB can be accurate on long balls miss on first through two more.
