Longhorn News/Discussion (Non-Recruiting)

3. Sam Ehlinger, QB, Texas

Total points: 32 (first-place votes: 1)

Notable: Texas almost lost, but Ehlinger tossed six TDs to help the Longhorns beat Texas Tech in OT. He threw for five and rushed for one to top five TDs for the second time in two games this season.

Quotable: "That's the Tom Brady of college football," Texas defensive tackle Keondre Coburn said. "That's the leader we have."

Five-star report: How the 2020 class looks early this season

No. 15 Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas

Robinson is averaging a healthy 5.6 yards per carry on nine attempts to go along with three catches for 20 yards. Perhaps the most notable part of Robinson’s true freshman season, however, is that he’s healthy at all. Robinson attempted a hurdle against Texas Tech and it did not go well. Somehow, he got up under his own power following this fall

No. 16 Zach Evans, RB, TCU

Nine players had a rushing attempt Saturday for TCU against Iowa State — none of them were Evans. In fact, fellow freshmen Kendre Miller and Daimarqua Foster received multiple carries. Evans had been listed as a co-third-string back alongside his fellow freshman backs.

As to Black being in the dog house I do not know but depth chart has Eagles starting.
When you re-watch the game, check out Black's demeanor and body language during the game. Not on the sideline, but on the field.
