Only Tom knows for sure or at least has a good idea  on number of ships left.

I thought he meant two left. I belive he said there was two scholarships open and would be used at positions of need.

Time will tell.

Perhaps Texbound is right in that he meant for this coming year.

I think Boyce and Floyd don't count since they officially retired.  I'm guessing.  Not 100% sure what is going on with D. Brown and Mpagi's scholarships counting towards the 85 limit.

When you look at this roster table from IT:  https://insidetexas.com/football/football.php?pg=fb_roster

It shows 85 players, but that is not including Tarik Black or Jahdae Barron.  That takes it to 87.  As I stated above, that table includes 5 walkon's and 4 players retired or on medical.  My guess, is that Floyd, Brown, Boyce, and Mpagi were moved off or to a medical ship.  Not sure how those are counted or not counted towards the 85 limit.

Pretty sure Mpagi will never play again.

Brown havenot saw any infro. on his ability to play,

Mpagi read a while back per Tom Mpagi and Whittington was progressing nicely.

Four non seniors walk ons three LB Nd a DS.

This year has been most confusing for recruiting I can remember. At least before internet made it easier to keep up with.

I must be getting old because I cant find the 2020 roster.  I saw a 2019 roster and a 2020 recruit list, but not the updated roster.  Please help me in locating it.  I trust things that Tfloss does because he is pretty spot on.

Per IT, Shemar Turner of DeSoto is being recruited exclusively at DE by Texas. He was able to hang out with some of UT's defensive linemen this weekend during his trip to Austin.

They believe a decision could come in the next month or so since Henry doesn't believe he'll be able to take any official visits.
