Texas gets their new QB.

Just watched some film and I'm legitimately impressed with this guy. Great arm and makes every throw on the field.

Hoping Halle dropped by to indicate more good news and not just a late arrival for CW. Either way, always good to see her.

Texas got a commitment anb OU passed them in team standings.

Would have happened anyway as OU has less numbers,

I am hearing rumblings that a certain RB might be on the verge of a decision . . . but this was just Haley being her usual late self. She's so naughty. lol

Herman said he had two spaces left when talking about big ten transfers.

If you cannot belive Tom then who?

Tom may have figured differently with regard to transfers. If you want x amount of recruits, then that would leave you x amount of room for a GT.

If we only have two spots left, why are we recruiting so many players at so many positions still? We're giving out new offers as recently as last week.

Turner, Regis, Mukuba, Cooks, etc.

Only Tom knows for sure or at least has a good idea  on number of ships left.

I thought he meant two left. I belive he said there was two scholarships open and would be used at positions of need.

Time will tell.

I'm fairly certain Tom meant we have 83 scholarship players for this season (2020).  Meaning we have 2 remaining for this year only for a GT.  Recruiting for 2021 is different.  Not sure how they plan on creating the 20-25 spots for 2021, but it's there job to make it happen.  I'm guessing that out of the current 83, they have around 4 or 5 walkons taking a ship this year and at least 4 that are medical or retirement (Floyd, Brown, Boyce and Mpagi).  So that's 7-8 right there coupled with the Sr's.

Better question is why he is recruiting at positions where room is already crowded.

And at position of great need he cannot find a prospect to save his soul.

Some times to me it looks like staffwants thier own players and hope some leave tomake room. As roster stands it hard toexplain some decisions , then it thier jobs on the line.

85  players on roster.
I think Boyce and Floyd don't count since they officially retired.  I'm guessing.  Not 100% sure what is going on with D. Brown and Mpagi's scholarships counting towards the 85 limit.

When you look at this roster table from IT:  https://insidetexas.com/football/football.php?pg=fb_roster

It shows 85 players, but that is not including Tarik Black or Jahdae Barron.  That takes it to 87.  As I stated above, that table includes 5 walkon's and 4 players retired or on medical.  My guess, is that Floyd, Brown, Boyce, and Mpagi were moved off or to a medical ship.  Not sure how those are counted or not counted towards the 85 limit.
