I look forward to the group that has the courage and initiative to win the Big 12 Conference. Lets give activists ping pong scholarships.

Brainiacs had a very nice update today on the WR group. I'll summarize:

1. Expecting big things from Brennan Eagles. Whole staff is fired up about him. Optimism is so high one source said he expects this could be Eagles final year at the 40. One source for SK said Eagles was better right now than Collin J was at the end of last season.

2. If the team were to play today, Eagles, Marcus Washington, and Jake Smith would be your starters. That means your 2nd string is Whittington, Moore and Black, who could start just about anywhere else.

3. Staff expects a big year from Washington. Remember, Ohio State said this kid was too slow. lol

Brainiacs with another good update today . . . 

Some but not all of the notes they posted – Jersey numbers were passed out to remainder of freshman class and our GT. Tarik Black will be #0. Bijan will be #5

Jaden Hullaby is #55, seemingly meaning he will get time at LB.

Adimora weighed in at 214, up from the 185 he weighed last year.

Sweat and Coburn weighed in at the same weight – 348 lbs

Reese Moore is now 6'7, 304. Wow he grew.

Bijan and Ingram weighed the same 222 lbs.

Roschon was at 227

I'm glad Ingram dropped a little weight.

The last I heard, back when he was playing his HS season, is that he weighed 215 lbs. So he's gained 7 lbs, which is not bad weight if its a result of conditioning/training. Even at 215, he looked a little skinny.

He weighed 205 when the season began last year, according to their roster. So he went through that traditional teen growth spurt, put on 10 lbs during a season.

Of course, all he really did is sprint up and down the field a few times every Friday night. lol

SDE or in the rotation at a 3 tech? Either way, our DL should be much deeper and improved this year. Or next spring, whichever the case may be.
