Watched Owens in high school. Good football instincts. Not sure if LB is the right position for him. He would need to put on some good weight and size. In any case, getting Owens on the field is a good thing.

Arlington ISD and the Texas Rangers announced on Friday a four-year agreement for AISD teams to play varsity football games at Globe Life Park.
Globe Life Park, the former home of the Texas Rangers, was retro-fitted for football and other sports in the winter and served as home field for the XFL’s Dallas Renegades.
GLP will primarily serve as the home field for Arlington High and Arlington Martin, although every AISD program will play at least one home game at the facility.
“I think for Arlington ISD to partner with the community and the Texas Rangers is a great opportunity for our kids," Arlington ISD athletic director Eric White said. "It’s an unbelievable venue that’s renovated to fit football, from the locker rooms, to the playing surface. It’ll be a first class experience for the student-athletes of Arlington ISD.
"We’ve got some great matchups. All six schools will get a home game at Globe Life Park; the band, drill team, support groups will get to perform there as well. We are looking at hosting band contests at the facility and maybe even some soccer games as well.”
Globe Life Park will also be utilized for playoff games starting in the bi-district round should any Arlington ISD programs earn the right to host a first-round playoff game. The facility will host playoff games in every round of the playoffs from the area round up to the state semifinals.
The Texas Rangers new indoor stadium, Globe Life Field, is tentatively scheduled to host high school football playoff games as well in the area round and the regional semifinals.
Arlington ISD, which still has two on-campus football facilities for their six high schools (Cravens Field at Lamar High and Wilemon Field at Sam Houston High), has plans to open a third on-campus facility at Martin High School along with renovations to Cravens and Wilemon.
White didn’t rule out that even with a third on-campus facility opening in the future that AISD would not still use Globe Life Park for football games.

In the absence of any real sports, I have found myself spending more time listening to the draft "experts". I am shocked that despite his injury history, Collin does not get more love. I realize it is a deep WR draft but the kid is a freak. Maybe I'm a homer but I think he is certainly worth a flyer in the late 3rd-4th based on his skill set and match-up possibilities but his name never seems to get mentioned.

There is no doubting his ball skills and measurables. In my book his injury history is extensive and he seems to have trouble getting away from press or man coverage. To me he seems like a poor man's Keyshon Johnson. Probably 6th or later with all the talent at WR this year.
