I'm in the same boat as @Big Daddy Cane.

I haven't been to Austin since my sophomore year of college and that was a drunken blur after spending five days in Panama City. We partied hard with our fraternity chapter at UT and it's one of my favorite memories of college. I think it was Roundup weekend there. We went to both games against OU last year but we're taking the weekend and driving down from NWA so I need hotel, food, bars, etc! Throw 'em out there!

Brainiacs today confirming some things I've recently heard.

Namely – the development of Malcom Epps. Their source said Epps could eclipse LJH and Collin both. Colin on one side and Epps on the other is going to present some problems. Said he was just as much of a red zone threat as Collin is, right now.

– The positive news on Whittington was echoed there. Kid is not playing like a freshman.

– D'Shawn Jamison is making it hard to keep him off the 1's. He's been running with them off and on this week.

– Bru McCoy is turning heads. He had 8 catches and 2 TDs in today's scrimmage.

Sounds like Whittingham has embraced the move to RB after wanting to be a WR.  Wonder what the future holds for him?  WR room seems packed with talent now...Ingram is the #1 back, and hopefully Evans comes aboard next season.  Doesn’t hurt to have talent!

How come Ingram has the stripe on his helmet?  I thought only freshman had those and were rewarded with good practice play with the removal of the stripe?  Watched spring highlights and he had the stripe.

Huge position of need right now. He could get 10-12 touches a game at RB. No way he gets that level at WR. Plenty of time to move to WR after this year.

They are liking using Whttington in motion out of the backfield. Gives them 1 on 1 with a LB mismatch.

Barnes is staying and getting a good raise at Tennessee. 

Crazy how wild this UCLA coaching search has been. A program of that caliber has swung and missed quite a bit.

Apparently, they only wanted to pay one million of Dixon’s eight million dollar buyout. I guess they are having money troubles.

You're going to start seeing that come into play more and more. State-funded schools in SOME states are and have been experiencing a money-crunch. In some places, it's getting worse.
