HornSports Members Prediction Thread: Kansas State

27-24 Texas, but would much rather see the larger margins others are posting.  Strange $hit seems to happen to us in Manhattan, KS, but would love to see us exercise those demons Saturday.

Texas Defense is key to me. As long as we can continue to stop the rushing yards and keep Snyder’s Boys behind the chains we roll. Offense needs to get a quick start to squash home field noise. Every Horn knows this can be a trap game, I still think we get it done.

Texas 42

K-State 16.

24-10 K State. Herman needs to prove he can get the team ready to play an underdog on the road.

27-24 horns. Will be a dog fight. This is the kind of game a 1 point win would be good. I like the fact we have “we haven’t won there since 2002” thing going for us. We had redemption games the last few weeks. Just hope they play like it.

It's been a long time since I've done this but .. Texas. 38

           Kansas State 17

We finally discover that the purple wizard is in Kansas, not Oz. His power here was an illusion.  I am not superstitious.

Texas  10-9 (like I've predicted the last 3 games)

Same as in the Common Man Predictions thread...

My heart says there's never a doubt.

Texas 38-13

But my head says the Purple are tougher in KS, so I'll go with

Texas 31-20

The Monkees said it best "I'm a Believer".

Texas 35 - 10 KS

Texas pulls away in the 2nd half.

Y'all are welcome for my anti reverse psychology prognostications that got UT its last two wins LOL

But in all seriousness this is a true trap game. It's a road game in a place Texas hasn't had much success at and against a coach that can game plan our tendencies very well. And it comes after some unexpected success.

If it weren't for the seeming lack of talent at K State I would take them outright. As it sits I still think this will be a slobberknocker. K State's defense will slow down the UT offense and Delton's legs outrun the defense to the edge enough to keep them close all game long.

Texas 20

K State 17

I don't care how successful Texas has been it's still UT vs the Purple Wizard.

Edited for bad grammar

I'm always anxious going into Manhattan...but this KSU team is baaaaad. They barely squeaked by with a win against South Dakota at home and lost to a Mississippi State team by 21 at home who then went on to lose by 21 to....Kentucky.

Texas: 41

Kansas State: 17
