After his Casey Horny mistake, I was hoping Herman was going to score a few positive leadership points on signing day.

Not a great signing class, by any means, but not a terrible one either.

I guess now we go into Herman's "total control" mode and wait to see when positive things begin to happen.

We got Fowler last year.... It's recruiting.

Sure it would have been Nice but to say they needed? Shark, Roach, Fowler, And co. have something to say about that.

Texas just needs to get back to being the Texas Football we know and love.

Texas addressed TE and ILB (instant starter in Johnson) so I'm happy.

Make no mistake about it... This roster is loaded. Herman just had to get them to rise to the occasion.

Can't blame Herman for the past two years. In some way it was expected we wouldn't have a top 10 class. Once Herman starts winning the recruits will be knocking on our door instead of the other way around.

We have addressed TE, rb, and LB. We will be fine. We have two top 10 classes thanks to Strong. Let them produce wins and then we will start killing it in recruiting.

One thing is for certain, Herman is going to have to win football games this year. Expectations needed to be fair but I'd say the loss on Chaisson is a big one. Fortunately, our last two classes were really strong so we have the foundation. 2018 will need to be a big recruiting year for us.

As I read on twitter, and we should all keep in mind... Charlie brought us very good recruiting classes and pure shit on the field. I will take 30ish ranked class out of what? 128 teams... if he can make things happen on the field, which I have full confidence he will, this class is of little concern.

Ok, here's my 2 cents and then I'm done. Too many variables to give Herman a grade with this class, but I have to say that underwhelming sounds appropriate. Having said that, we've had 2 terrific classes that didn't live up to expectations. Herman did manage to address positions of need and some depth. Charlie's young boys are upper classmen and have game experience now. Let's hope Tom's approach works and we're singing a different tune a year from now.

I feel like getting Pouncey later will make me feel a whole better, not that I'm really too down. Really thought we had Chaisson, so that is where my disappointment is coming from. Didn't really have a strong feeling on Zabie, though it seemed likely. 

Class is as to be expected with the situation Herman inherited, just could have been a little better.
