There's a reason these types of administration decisions are leaked to the media. It's all on them, not the media. They wanted it to be known what their decision was, then Perrin comes out and does the opposite. Hence the s*** storm that is ensuing.

I believe it was donors, acting as 'unnamed sources' who were the genesis of the 'Charlie has been fired' articles. It makes zero sense that the admin would leak their decision. If what you say is true, they are stupider than I thought.

I was wondering about that as well.  It appears that way.  

What more needs to be evaluated after a loss to Kansas...nothing it SHOULD be over.

I'm of the opinion that neither Perrin or Fenves want to fire him, and as you said Mike Perrin put his best witness on the stand at the most critical juncture. They've set the stage for the hail Mary against TCU.

I don't believe the admin are dumb enough to leak it, but I DO believe that the boosters are. I wish it were that easy to just let it play out, but this will be the story of the week all week. Might as well buckle up now, this is what the media lives for.

Am I missing something? The only official statement from Perrin has been he will evaluate at season's end. Are we saying that him doing what he said he would do is incompetent or inconsistent?

A lot of this crap storm is being created by media and feaux-media. I know many of us want the administratoin to cook or get off the pot...but Perrin said he would evaluate at season's end and that appears to be what he is doing...
