Reality setting in. I'm beyond many words at this point. Hope the boys have some fun, play well tomorrow and spoil a few teams' hopes in OKC.Maybe reading too much into it, but Augie sure seemed worn down in that in-game interview.
Not only do I think Augie is gone, I think Texas has essentially already hired someone.
Kendall Rogers is pretty much saying Augie is gone.Care to enlighten the rest of us who you think it may be?
Do we know if any of these guy's wives have been in town looking at real estate?Kendall Rogers is pretty much saying Augie is gone.
A few weeks ago Autullo at the AAS went on a rant about how the Texas baseball job might not be a top 10 job and how Texas would have a difficult time landing an elite coach (specifically at Vanderbilt, Florida and Virginia).
Rogers chimed in and said he thinks Texas can land one of those coaches at Vanderbilt, Florida or Virginia. Reading between the lines Rogers has known something about the Texas baseball job for some time. Something has gone down behind the scenes with a top level coach IMO.
Today, I straight up asked Rogers if he thinks Texas has already made a hire. His response, "I know things with eye emojis."
I don't think a hire has officially been made but I'm pretty sure there's an elite coach that's pretty much lined up and ready. Based on how confident Rogers is it wouldn't surprise me if it's O'Connor, O'Sullivan or Corbin.
Let me call Saban's wife to find out.Do we know if any of these guy's wives have been in town looking at real estate?
Remember Dustin writes for Kendall at D1baseball.comI'm also pretty sure McComas at OB knows more than he's leading on.
Yeah, they are buddies too. McCommas knows more than what he's told subscribers. That isn't a criticism either, this isn't exactly something you can leak.Remember Dustin writes for Kendall at D1baseball.com
