I stand corrected. Didn't think they would get right out there. Good. Maybe they decided not to let the game sink in and start working on Rice immediately.

Yep, can confirm. Swoopes had all of the snaps. Makes you wonder if Heard may have had a concussion after all. Or if our Offensive Staff is just that dense.

Eh. I mean it's a little more convoluted than that. Watson is the Assistant Head Coach, responsible for all things on the offensive side of the ball. Sure, Strong is responsible for the overall success of the team both offensively and defensively. But Strong won't be the first to go if the decision-makers above him start making calls. He'll get an ultimatum, it's you or Watson. And when that time comes, Strong will do what is best for him and his family. That doesn't include Watson. 

There has been too much positive press and response to what Strong is doing with the Texas program for him to be canned after a year or two. Strong will get at least three years to prove his worth but it's far more likely that he'll get a full four years. Watson doesn't have that kind of time. Especially when those boosters start pressuring an AD who is already feeling the burn from the hot seat a little bit.

Better Holtz than Swoopes. Swoopes has had too many chances to perform already. He is not a QB.

Ultimately Charlie Strong is responsible for it all.........and he brought Watson with him after failing to hire Tom Herman.

I firmly believe we would be in better shape if he hired someone else to run the offense. 

Joe Wickline's seat is getting warm as well as far as I'm concerned. He's been a lame duck.

If we are really looking at a 5-win season, then don't limit it to Heard.

Rice should tell us more about this than ND, but if we lose to Rice, then play Heard (Kai too) and all the young guys the rest of the season.

Let them have some fun, aim for 2016.

I like Strong, I really do but the last 36 hours make me wonder what the heck is going on at Texas!
