I mean, really? Notre Dame has enough talent to play in the National Championship game this year. We're fielding several freshman due to the past coaches lax recruiting. This is arguably the toughest team on our schedule. And we're going to freak out? Have none of you ever experienced a rebuild? Did you think that it would only take Strong one season to right a ship that had been neglected for five years?

Blake, the offense has barely 120 yards of total offense. the defense has given up 500. The defense is having a horrible game and being completely exposed, but the offense is wholly incapable of playing at a mid-major level.

Wake up. The team is horrible and the program is not improving. It isn't competitive. There are no positives to be taken from this game and it isn't all Mack Brown's fault. The team's problems aren't going to be corrected with practice repetitions or "coaching up" younger players.

Patterson, Bielema and Kelly have all known exactly how to destroy the UT offense. It is no secret how to shut down Shawn Watson's scheme. Strong's defense is getting as exposed as Manny Diaz's was in his second year. In the last three games, the team has been outscored 117-20. Let that sink in for a while. This team is horrible and heading in the wrong direction.

Duke, you're as irrational as they come. You've pounding your anti-Strong semitism well before he took to the sidelines. Don't need to hear it. The fact you don't see Brown and Co. as being incredibly at fault here is sign enough of your ignorance to the state of this team. This isn't a good football team. It was a terrible football team when Charlie strong took it over. It's going to take time to rebuild. Tell us more about our roster count and Steve Patterson. I'm sure we'll all understand soon enough.

You know exactly what I meant. This isn't the same team as last year. We're starting several freshman. And we're still working with several of Mack's crew. Including a Quarterback that never should have been offered in the first place. This isn't a Charlie Strong team yet. Even Strong said himself that needs another year before it's his team.
