Strong loves him some Poona. People forget when Strong was hired the first recruit he went after was Poona Ford.

Poona has been my pick to be defensive mvp for awhile. The guys highlight tape was on par with Dylan Mack. There is a reason ford didn't redshirt. The kid is a stud.

Well. as a clueless fan who has never seen Poona, I have to look at the measurements.   There's no way a squint 5' 11" red shirt frosh kid beats out  a 6' 3"" Junior  who has mauler qualities.  This depth chart is a motivation devise, nothing more.  Better print the roster to keep up with all the players on the field Saturday.

Chip asked Tyrone Swoopes if they had added a lot to the offense since last season. His response: "I wouldn't say so." Swoopes said that players just have a better understanding of what they are doing and are moving a lot faster while doing it.

He committed to Charlie Strong twice. He was a Louisville recruit who open up his recruitment the day after Bobby Petrino was hired. I don't know why he wouldn't want to play for Bobby.

surprised to see Poona Ford listed above Hassan Ridgeway at DT? When asked, Strong said that he mentioned that it had to do with Ridgeway missing some time to start fall camp. He also said that the defensive line was so deep it doesn't really matter who starts. They are all going to play.

Poona came in Charlie's '14 class and played in spots last year as a true freshman receiving good reviews from coaches overall. This year he's a sophomore.

Why would Lorenzo Joe be surprised he isn't on depth chart ? Can't he see what he is doing compared to the WRs who are on the chart ?  Is he doing better than them, but work ethic a problem ? Interesting he would tweet that...
