My thoughts are:

• Ecstatic about seeing Heard at QB
• Nickelson is only 3rd string RT?
• Won't be surprised to see Freeman & Cole at Sam & Mike

CS played a large portion of his first class at Louisville. Just like the Bridgewater class, I expect a lot of the Malik Jefferson class to play and contribute.

And this still amazes me that people are still promoting this.  It could very well wind up being true, but, outside of that kids HS exploits, what has he done to get this kind of recognition?  At least in D-1 college play?  Howe guesses this because this is what Howe wants.

Okay, I get there are many that are disgusted with Swoopes play last year and they will forgive a gawd awful line, mediocre receivers, poor offensive scheme and won't forgive that Swoopes was basically the same as a RS freshman. 

Look, if Heard proves to be the better QB - hallelujah!  But if you go back and look at the spring game again you will notice that 3 of the passes Heard completed should have been interceptions.  He completed one to a receiver that was covered by three db's.  The pass should never have been thrown - he got lucky.

Sure, he is quicker than Swoopes, but I don't know if he is faster.  Swoopes ran the ball pretty good as well.

And there is no argument that Swoopes is a better passer.  It's not even close.

I suspect, the Heard love comes from Swoopes hate and being enamored with Heard's play against HS kids.  Objectivity be damned.
