I'm not watching but if the catcher doesn't have the ball, he's fair game to be ran over isn't he?

A player cannot block a base w/o the ball.  The C had his left leg draped across the plate, his body was off the right side of the plate, and there was an opening beneath the C (5-hole.) 

I believe the runner has to slide, and cannot plow the C.

While it pisses me off that we popped up two bunts, both were the correct calls, and both were piss poor execution by the hitter.  You get the bunt down.  Period.  That's your job.
