Texas loses to UT-Arlington in 10 innings

1. How big is Barrera's hit now?

2. The way they pulled Bellow so quickly and let Johnston battle is typical for the way Garrido treats midweek games.

3. Johnston has to find more confidence in something other than his heat.

Really a great midweek game with a lot of coachable items to take into the WE-TH practices.

Can't believe we gave that game back after scoring three in the ninth. Not sure there's a silver lining in this one.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is one of those mid-week contests that I felt we could drop.  Back to work tomorrow and see if we can learn from this.

Augie post game quotes:

"We played one inning-the 9th."

"Lesson is, maybe if you want to sleep, do it at home, and not on the baseball field."

joey, if that quote was from Augie, it was funny.

btw, will you let us know what walk-up music your son chooses?

You learn from a loss... In two losses Augie has learned Culbreth IS NOT THE GUY.....Walked in a winning run vs WVU; and tonight throws a wild pitch with 2 strikes to lose this one too. It looks like we have NO closer.

Short recap is HERE, but this game thread is better if you're interested in a more detailed review of the game.
