Last night, Garrido had 2 priorities for the remaining 3 games.
1. Get Johnston in during a live situation.
2. Give Mathis a shot if a RHP presented an opportunity to start.
Regarding #1, the fact that Augie had him pitch with a 5-run lead tells you all you need to know about the depth of UMinn's staff.
