This game is a must win for Barnes and the Horns getting to the Big Dance... I expect they will take care of business tonight.

Tech isn't much of a barometer of whether the Horns are improving, but this game is critical for momentum and confidence.

• The Red Raiders have lost 14 straight away from Lubbock, including all nine played this season.
• Tech has not won in Austin since Feb. 24, 1996.

Texas finishes the half strong. 29-19 Texas at the half. 

A couple of thoughts. 1) I don't know why we don't get the ball inside when have a significant size advantage. 2) We need to keep Felix on the court. 3) Holmes needs to go back down low. He's not comfortable outside. Put him back down on the low block and let him mix it up.
