This is McConaughey talking to Soso about going to UT.

This is off topic, but Inside Texas has either crashed or they have been hacked—threads disappearing. Please be vigilant, Admins.
somebody or some country (Syria) has hacked IT.  Stay off your cell phones and do not visit the site.

For the love of all things Burnt Orange, you are wasting valuable forum resources. Almost as much as me! ;)
I'm fairly sure my double post will cause the site

to crash shortly before Warren's annoucement tomorrow AM! I'll stop double posting if you will!

CS told Catalon earlier this year that there was no way he would allow him to get beat up behind the OL we had at that time. CS said this because Cat wanted to transfer. He had proven he was better than anything else we had, including our starters. But he was being redshirted instead.

The running game suffered. Yet, they did not pull a desperation move and remove Cat's shirt.

I've known that Hig's contact is on the UT staff. Now, I'm pretty sure I know who it is. There is only one coach on staff who passed that BS. Even his boss has told him to let it go.

Again, to believe that Heard is the pitiful subject with as many issues as Hig/Watson are suggesting:

1. He would not have been called out on it publicly by another UT coach, and

2. One would have to accept the concept that Heard became so once he entered the Austin city limits.

He was a 4-star QB with 2 state championship trophies on his resume. Unlike a system QB that we once knew, Heard is largely responsible for the two trophies Guyer won.
I choose to believe this Higdon dude is wrong.  I choose to believe that Heard will come into his own this year.

I, also, choose not to write Swoopes off either - like so many have done.

Re: Heard.  I too hope you are right.

I hope this data was bullshit.  If not and Higdon is right we are seriously doomed in 2015 people.

From the most recent "Burnt Ends" . . .

With Spring football fast approaching, the team is involved in offseason conditioning drills. According to a member of the coaching staff, the team did some early morning running last week. Longhorn fans will like a detail from that workout:

“Guess who was right in middle of the front line? Jerrod Heard.  Dead smack in the front. Leading the way."

After the last 2 games (TCU and Arkansas), that’s all fans need to hear to further cement opinions that Heard will be the opening day starter in 2015, but just in case you need more…

"He [Heard] looked more involved than Swoopes."

And for good measure:

"Jerrod Heard looks good physically."

Well, according to ISIS, Jesus is just another poster. But they have nothing but good things to say about him.

I've got a text into him. This is the WORST possible time for something like this to happen to them (night before signing day). I hope they get it back online soon.

Yep, those were the days when coaches spent the night in cars outside players homes to protect and get original signatures.

We were selling Xerox "telecopiers" in those days but they were expensive and pretty much limited to specialized business needs, not very common.  I spent several game days in the UT pressbox  for bringing a couple of loaner telecopiers for press use.  Great game day experience until the time I brought my wife along and got chewed out by the SID (can't remember his name now, real hard ass & actually a good guy) because women weren't allowed in the pressbox.  We had to sit out on the camera deck and I had to sneak her food & drink from inside.

Yep. Switzer said later that if he'd known that Earl was going to ask God where he should go while laying in bed the night before NSD, he would've hidden under Earl's bed the day before. Switzer also said that Earl was the only high school player he had ever seen who could have gone straight to the NFL from high school.

I wonder if something is going on in cyberspace re: hackers or sunspots. It took my PC far far longer than normal to post my statement and there are not that many users on here right now to slow down the awesome HS servers.... hmmmm.

Same here.  I thought something big had happened.  Last night there were 400 users online but currently there are 270.
