I was listening to texags radio this morning and they think Murray is just having fun and not flipping. They said the stud out of stated receiver had a picture of him and Murray on Twitter with dynamic duo and Murray liked it. Murray also recruited this kid hard, I think he was #19 in the top 100. If Murray flips now it shows lack of character. IMO

They're talking about the kid out of Arizona - 5 star WR Christian Kirk.  He's friends with Kyler Murray, but he's also friends with Kyle Allen (also from Arizona).  Kirk was an early-enrollee, so he's already in classes at AtM.

Can't say I agree with this. We have no idea what has transpired between the Murray's and the aggy coaching staff in the last couple of days/weeks/months. At the end of the day, you do what is best for you and yours.

For those keeping up with it, Carlos Strickland is "supposed" to announce on the 27th. 

I think it's down to either Texas or the West Coast (UCLA/Washington State)..

If he visits this weekend with Wheeler that would be a sign.... but, that's IF.

The Texags website is a train wreck. Bickering, name calling, etc. It's horrible. I wanted to see what was being said about KM. They aren't extremely concerned but some of the more logical posters aren't downplaying the visit. If we end up getting a flip from KM, it will be a catastrophe compared to Malik.

Looking at the WR spot a minute we have

Newsome, Burt, Strickland, Lodge that are considering us(we assume). 2 committed in McNeal(WR,H-Back, versatile) and Johnson(outside WR).

I assume we have 1,maybe 2 more WR spots. Burt, Strickland and Lodge are all outside guys.

Soso can play everything(RB, slot, outside, H-Back).

All are very good and would be great to have but that's not possible. If we are choosing 2, who do u take?

Newsome is a slot and PR/KR but u can't pick him over Lodge, Burt or Soso. Maybe over Strickland (but only bc Johnson would be a similar player).

Burt looks to be out at Auburn so he might flip to us soon.

My order is Lodge, Soso, then everyone else. Again, all good players.

I have read that Kyler Murray's "advisor"/future baseball agent is Scott Boras.

And he may have also played a role in getting Kyler to consider Texas as the best option among the college baseball choices

...... and Kyler's uncle, Calvin Murray, also works with Scott Boras
