2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Carlos was quoted in the Lubbock article last that he would probably end up at UCLA. If we do have room for him, UCLA would be the team to beat.

Strickland has already OV'd to TTU, UCLA, Cal, and TCU

He has one remaining OV

Gentry, Johnson, Strickland and Clarington.

All between 6'5 - 6'7

We are going to need a group photo of this 4-some standing together

The potential to wreak havoc on modern defenses is here

Meet The Miller

I'm gonna go ahead and say if we get Miller we will win 9 or more games next season. The OL should be better even if they aren't with a QB that can run like Miller they don't have to be great. Let's hope he can get here soon and work on his timing with WR's. If we do get Miller I would think Strong/Watson/Wick are already working on a different offensive scheme to work.

just a follow up on yesterday's Braxton Miller conversation.

Higdon confirmed today that BM is not the big surprise he's been alluding to for a month or so.  He also added that BM is too much of a risk with our current QB situtation.  Said he might not even be able to throw until last July because of his hurt shoulder.  That certainly puts a new perspective on wanting BM...

From what I can gather, it's Richmond, Mack, or Murray.

Unless it's someone else.

I know, I know. I should charge money for that kind of inside information. Or at least start a newsletter.
Unless it's someone else.........you are covered...now how much do I owe you..... ;)

Well, after thinking it over for all of a few seconds, I decided that I like the people on this site so much that I won't be charging anything for these occasional nuggets and gems ;)

You're all welcome.

Especially considering Braxton was injured on a non-contact short throw.  no telling if it will ever completely heal.  I think Texas needs more certainty than that.

so what is this big surprise that hes alluding to????

here is the wording again --

"As many of you know, I have eluded (sic) to something big in the works for some time now. It is going to happen, I can promise you that and this could be the only time you ever see me promise anything with regards to anything recruiting related because I just don't do that. That is how strongly I feel about this situation.

There have been lots of misinformation about what I originally said, so I want to go over it quickly. A surprise is coming and when it happens everyone on the planet will know what I was talking about. That is the only thing I have ever said about it."

and i was just thinking on the Strickland decommitting from TT..I was saying to myself "and kliff went through so much hard work baking Mr. Strickland a nice birthday cake too..." woww

Bummer dude

I was already envisioning our NBA front court team of 6'7 Zack Gentry firing outlet passes to 6'5 Carlos Strickland, 6'4 Gilbert Johnson and 6'6 Devonaire Clarington

subsequent edit - I originally misread Mike^ as saying "somewhere else....."

Thus, the future All-NBA aerial circus is still possible

No love for the 6'9 Nickelson? He's a shot-blockin' fool!
