2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

The kid appears to be driven on and off the field. With those stats I would love to give him a chance.

There is a stream for the game http://watchonlinesports365.blogspot.com/2015/01/watch-us-army-all-american-bowl-live.html

Here is the announcement time info

My guess for the 4-man at start of the season (assuming no Brown or Mack)

Davis or Vasser

Ridgeway

Ford

Hughes

Others - Boyette, Nelson, Bluiett, Cottrell, Brown, Lampkin, Omenihu

I have high hopes for Nelson, they say he has grown

Charles O will probably redshirt. Not sure about Lampkin or Brown (who could also play the Hughes position)

ps- if we end up with either or both Brown/Mack, the whole picture changes
Tank Jackson is coming back

Agree, those are some great stats.  But apparently we have backed off.

The issues apparently are -

(1) academics/transfer issue (somewhat addressed in that article)

(2) arm strength

(3) the idea that he cannot step in as the starter in Game One (which is what we are looking for)

QB Jeff Driskel has asked for his release

reportedly looking at Duke

Driskel (6’4, 230) did not look so great at Florida but has some talent.  He never had the opportunity to play in a stable offense.   He got benched in favor of freshman Treon Harris due to lack of production, but the Florida coaching staff never did Driskel any favors with the constant changes to the team’s offensive approach.
He has also had to deal with multiple injuries

A couple of notes about todays player announcements

--Miami (Fla.) Booker T Washington tight end Devonaire Clarington (No. 3, second quarter) -- LSU and Florida are ostensibly in the mix for the nation's No. 4 tight end, but this look like a Texas-Miami battle. Long considered the favorite, the Hurricanes made a mistake this fall by falling out of contact, which allowed the Longhorns to surge with Clarington after his official visit in November. Right now, it looks like he's headed to Texas.

--Miami (Fla.) Westminster athlete Tim Irvin (No. 7, third quarter) -- A two-way star in high school who is expected to play safety at the next level, Irvin is down to Florida, Miami, Texas and West Virginia. Miami has long been considered the team to beat, but there has been momentum for Texas after the commitment of his friend Cecil Cherry, a linebacker from the Sunshine State.

just by reading his lips he sounding like he is saying A&M there Juan...i had to look at that several times

FWIW- Hill has jumped Boyd in the rankings.

They swapped spots Hill now the number 2 CB in the state and Boyd is 3

so if he feels that he wants to go to a&m why the official visit to UT on the 16th to follow Malik?? that would be the 1,000,000 question I wanna know

I really don't think he said atm. He could be coming here just to have one last good time with Malik.
