2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I'll say this, there are a handful of scholarship players on our roster that will never see the field. I wish them the best, but I hope a few players realize they probably need to look into other options if they want PT. If it's the right players, more attrition would be a very good thing. We need competition and there are simply too many players on this roster left over from Mack that won't ever see the field. No offense to the kid but we need some more Cameron Hamptons to transfer.

If you didn't see it posted or even in his body language, there are certain aspects of this team that Charlie is not pleased with. House cleaning isn't quite over. It's possible another staff change could happen, too.

the only thing i am anxious is the Daylon Mack sweepstakes...I feel we are in good position to land certain other areas in need and yes a QB is a definite need..from my understanding Swoopes will not play QB next year

Daylon Mack did get one CB vote to Texas today (Vandy guy)

Currently aggy at 41%, Texas 31%, LSU 21% (but not happening) and TCU 3% (but could happen)

So I thought he was down to Texas, Lsu and TCU. Is aggy really in the lead after the bad fall out between him and the fans after he decommited? And wasn't it Haley who was the main one recruiting him at LSU not Chavis? I can believe TCU being in the lead but I can't see aggy being in the hunt anymore.

Maybe he's trying to make it look like he didn't have any choice but to choose his "last" option Texas so it doesn't look like he just dropped everything to follow Malik.

im telling you guys my gut feeling is this..Mack is smart he knows what hes doing.. and he knows almost everybody is following to see what hes gonna do and I knew he would drop his LSU visit due to Chavis departure that was the only reason why he was so high on LSU in the first place was because of Chavis..and i believe Mack is suppose to take an OV..not for sure the date I believe its next week or the week following...

Watching this Wash/OkieSt bowl game is the reason why I NEVER want Texas to join the PAC whatever. The time difference would be brutal for TV and for recruiting. Kids arent watching games this late on Saturday nights. They are chasing skirts. Should never move or expand past the Rockies.
Not saying we should move to Pac but if that does happen we can have a clause that allows us to start games no later than 7pm or 8pm CST.

I do think we should see how life in the big 12 goes next few years and i would like to see a move.

Word I'm hearing is that you're going to be hearing about some attrition in the not so distant future.
I think this is good news for Texas and the players. Like Q said, there are more than a couple of Mack's guys on this team that would be better somewhere else.

Maybe Strong should promise Mack the second touch of the ball in the Notre Dame game. Worked on McNeal.

Actually with the athleticism Mack showed yesterday I would have no problem seeing him in a goal line or short yardage package. Guy can move.

his name should be Daylon Mack 'Truck' He can move like nobodys business

Maybe everyone knows this already but just in case --  those CB%s are cumulative totals.  Some of the votes go pretty far back in time and are never changed.  For example, the first one for Mack is dated March 2013.  Also, some are by regional guys who may not actually closely follow the region(s) in question.  All that said, there was a burst of Texas predictions immediately after Jefferson announcement.  However, the last 6 predictions for Mack, which have all been made this week, show 4 for aggy and 1 for both UT and TCU

I would have preferred to have the last visit.  But we still have a good shot.  Higdon keeps saying, as long as we get him on campus, we have a legitimate chance.  And our defensive recruiters have definitely been on a hot streak.  It almost looks like they know what they are doing.
