2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Guess DC, or lack thereof, matter to everyone but Malik.  Charles has since deleted his tweet.

ODDS & ENDS

-Since it's the dead period, and I am fairly certain that Malik would like a little peace to sort things out, I am glad that he is flying the colors of his final three before Friday's announcement.  Glad he wore the Burnt Orange.  May he wear it often in the future.

-Did y'all ever see the movie Grumpy Old Men?  Bah-hum-bug!  'Tis the season, after all.

-s/o to DeMarco Boyd. I really like his enthusiasm and dedication to The University.  He is going to love it here, and we are going to love what he brings to the table.

-double s/o to Cecil Cherry.  The timing of the commitment was perfect.  Go get 'em tiger!

Hook 'em, one and all.

Malik has given Sumlin until tomorrow (Wednesday) to tell him who is new DC will be.

Think there's panic in that coaches' office about now? lol

Let's see if he visits:

Lewis (La.)

Visiting...but may not have a spot by the time it happens:

Maybe something special happening:

CB Mark Fields on the de-committment from USC --
“I just got off the phone with (Gamecocks cornerbacks) coach Grady Brown and told him.  There’s too much uncertainty. It’s something I don't feel like I should get into. Coach Brown told me that he understands and if I ever want to come back I’m still the No. 1 guy on their board.â€

On Texas --
“They have a new head coach (Charlie Strong) who has a four-year contract so I know he will be there.  Their defense is on the rise.â€

He will visit Clemson Jan. 17
Then plans to visit Texas on one of next two weekends.
