2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Is your friend Nostradamus?

No, but is close with someone on the staff. He's drinking, but IMO that just makes him feel he can say more. lol

I'd be comfortable saying 3-4 in two weeks. If Malik chooses Texas, then the guy might be drinking the right kind of bourbon.

Tell him to have a shot and call you back

If you are drinking with him load him up and keep the info rolling. Then we will consult in a few weeks and see if he was worth the drinks you bought!

Sumlin says hey that's not fair, he's using facts. I would have loved to have seen that exchange.  From the articles I've read about Malik, relationships seems to be the most important part of his decision. Sumlin had a recruiting head start on Malik since Coach Strong was at Louisville. MJ also has a good relationship with the aggie LB coach, plus his friends and his girlfriend are at A&M.

If Malik makes this a football decision, Texas is much better choice as far as getting the best of Malik's ability and helping him go to the NFL Coach Strong's first recruiting class at Louisville had two NFL defensive players that went in the first round and they were both three star recruits.

Yea, those nasty facts.

Sumlin tells Malik that doesn't matter that there's no DC, position coach will remain the same. Oh, is that right? lol

So now aggy has to hire a DC that will agree to that?

I should have edited my previous post on this. It was actually Vance Bedford who did the charts and info collection. I hear it was impressive. Showed how Sumlin's defenses have done, how many that were supposed to go to the league did not. Showed how many DCs he goes through. THEN - showed how Charlie has put guys in the league, consistently. Showed how well Charlie's defenses have done and how players were developed.

Yea, Malik has a strong relationship with Sumlin. But that presentation had to make him think twice, if he's a thinking man.

We'll see how it plays out.

FWIW - 247 is reporting that Muschamp is going to accept the DC position at Auburn and will be taking his DB coach along with him. This should all but eliminate Florida as a potential suitor for Tim Irvin.

That's fantastic news. Big hurdle for us just got removed.

Based on your post...and your posts are solid...I am liking our chances with Malik.  With Strong and his coaching

staff, Texas IS going to win big again and put those who are capable into the NFL. It's inevitable.

Yep, that's impressive. How can you not look at that and

Have you already forwarded this to Malik, Kirkland, and Cherry? If not get on that my friend!

Have we been in contact with the receiver from Navasota ? I thought he either broke or was close to breaking the TD record. Sorry I dont remember his name.
