Just for info, Dean is my cousin --- a wonderful person himself! Sure HBU is happy to have you. Have a cousin that graduated there and his daughter there now and they love the school.

First of all, How bout them horns? Since I couldn't get LHN because Comcast is not a provider, I could only listen. Sounded like our boys did a fine job tonight. Most likely have a few things to iron out. Listening to a game, you really can't tell if the opponent's O is that bad or if our D is really that good. Anyway, sounds like their confidence is well in place from which to grow.

How is Dean?  He dated my best friend when I was at Texas.  After she left UT for additional professional training in her field, he and I hung out quite a bit.  He is a quality person, the best.  Where is he coaching now?

BTW, Shannon's Dad is one of the best men I've ever known. It has always been easy for me to see the fine man Shannon turned out to be based on his parents.

Thank you. He's not doing so well. Lost my mom 3 years ago, and that just sucked the wind out of his sails. They were married for 56 years and she was his everything. For those that have lost your mom, you know what I mean. They ARE the family glue!!!

BTW, I'm a little head of you but played at Memorial and went to Texas.

Oh, your Dad knows this, told any years ago but I met your wife before you did. In 82, I went to work for an Oli and Gas firm that sent me to Claksville WV (office was in Parkersburg). Anyway, one day I was in Fairmont and they had a big deal for her as she had made the Olympic Team. It was at the mall on the freeway, if I recall. Anyway, as I was walking out to my car, she and her enterauge ( really just her friends) were by my car. Introduced myself and went on.

I can't remember if it was her or one ofher friends that asked me what someone from Texas was doing there. My Audi had Texas plates. Like the smart as I was back then I remember saying I was lost.

I was an idiot back then. Should have just said Hook Em and told her to go to UT when the Olympic thing played out.
