8 .  2 rounds of golf as my guest at Cordillera Ranch, located in the Hill Country about 10 miles east of Boerne. Cordillera Ranch, a Jack Nicklaus signature course, is rated as the 4th best golf course in Texas by the Dallas Morning News, and the 16th hole was named the most beautiful hole in Texas. The retail value is $250, if it could be bought, but it can't be purchased. Must play by December 1 and cannot be played during any Texas football game.

Item 6, the Old Rip Van Winkle Handmade Bourbon, is one of my two donations. The auction has the item opening at $100. This would be a steal at that price, literally.

The bottle is worth $400 according to wine search.com but they add that you probably can't find one for less than $500 right now. A new batch will be made this fall but will never hit the shelves as it will be sold out before its release.

I received this bottle about six years ago so it's now 16 years aged.

Whiskey doesn't age in the bottle,only in the barrel.
