I don't disagree. I almost put them at number two, but it's nearly impossible to rank them, outside Ash.
I was thinking the same thing regarding the kickers. With the offense seemingly going to a possession style this year, I think points might come at a premium. The efficiency of a field goal kicker after a time consuming drive could be a big difference between a win and a loss. The effectiveness of a punter is also a difference between an opponent starting in between the 10 and 20 yard line as opposed to the 30 and 40, which effects both the defense as well as the potential starting point of the offense.
Again, I don't disagree, but I was looking to create a list of "not so obvious." Again, thinking outside the box.
Duly noted, but again, I didn't want to throw out the obvious ten players. There would be little interest in that. Not very debatable. For example, I was going at it from the angle that we already know Shipley is key. We already know Ced and Brown (DE) are key, but we also know what they're going to do, barring injury. There are some I included, like M. Brown (RB) b/c he's known for his injury problems. My list, I suppose, would be more of a "Key players you may not expect" or something along those lines of people who have question marks around them (be it experience or injuries), that are key to this team's success.
