Spring ball is here and David Ash is the #1 guy for the Longhorns at the position without question. A lot of chatter about the second string battle going on with reports that Connor Brewer slowly making a case for the #2 spot. Brewer reportedly took 2nd team snaps last week as did McCoy but McCoy is still the #2 qb according to most, but my question is this: How satisfied will Texas fans be if the QB depth chart remains Ash # 1 and McCoy #2? Looking forward, beyond just this year, an assessment of the players and the incoming talent is necessary.
