  1. Saw this article - written by a media guy (at least that's how he describes himself) - predicts a ton of changes because of demands TV and apparel sponsors will place on the FBS schools in exchange for ongoing TV contracts. He says we'll end up with four power conferences of 16 teams each with the Big 12 going away. He says UT and some other Texas programs will end up in a Pac-16 with Oregon State and Washington State leaving for the Mountain West. A bunch of other stuff too. http://www.thechaosindex.com/cest-la-tv-college-football-is-about-to-change-a-whole-lot-more-than-you-realize/
  2. The Austin American Statesman is reporting that the Longhorns, Sooners, OK State and Texas Tech very well might be headed to the PAC12. The conference would then have 16 teams and Texas would be able to keep the Longhorn Network as long as it showed PAC16 Conference content also. There are some revenue sharing issues but this looks like it is going to happen. Could be as early as tomorrow.
