  9. Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Game 3 live from Jackie Robinson Stadium. The Longhorns will try to get the series win today over UCLA It's a nice day out here; a bit overcast, but a comfortable 61 degrees. Sun is starting to peek through the clouds as the teams goes through their warm ups. Wind is light, 5-7 MPH from the ENE; as that relates to this field it's blowing in from RCF and that shouldn't be a factor today. Lineup for Texas has a few changes, but Joe Baker is not starting today. Still nursing a minor injury to his foot. IF is back to what we're used to

  11. Folks, I'd like to share something I read tonight, as I think it really needs to be seen. College athletes and coaches more often than not take a message board beating for the performance on the field of play. Right or wrong, they are critiqued to the nth degree. When a story like this comes across the web, I think it's important that it be shared. My buddy Dustin McComas over at Orangebloods.com told me he didn't mind if I shared it here. This is from Dustin's post-game write up tonight: "Also, sometimes you see things that can really put life into perspective. As the medi

  13. Sanson(Sammy) Faltine was on campus yesterday on his visit, 2nd time he has been on campus. Earlier this afternoon he pulls the trigger. Sammy is a 6-2 160lb shortstop/right handed pitcher that plays at William B. Travis High School and for the Houston Banditos. The coaching staff have been on him since he was a pup. He is rated as the #2 shortstop in the State of Texas and #9 overall for his class. This is the video that I shot during one of the College Camp out in Tomball last December. Here is the one that I shot, the year before.

  24. Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Game 3 of the series between Texas and UNLV. Connor Mayes takes the hill for Texas. He will be facing Ben Wright from UNLV.
