    Kobe Minichy (spelling??) Gets the start tonight. Eric Kennedy is having to sit tonight due to the ejection from yesterday's game Going to the bottom of the 2nd it's 0-0. It's on ESPN + or stream the radio.

    Texas wins 8-2 Texas has won 1600 times at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

    Texas does get the bases loaded, but Powell hits a fly out to end the inning. After 7 complete. Texas leads 8-2.

    Game 3 Hurley gets the start. Gives up 1 run in the top of the 1st; however, Texas gets a 2 run homerun in the bottom of the 1st. After 1. It's Texas 2-1.

    Had to wait to let the frustration over a loss that shouldn't have happened. 6-5. Our pitchers are getting exposed for not keeping runners in check. As for why no Shaw, it could be that instead of having a Thursday-Saturday series it's Friday thru Sunday series with Monday and Tuesday games with Texas State away(Monday) and home(Tuesday). That is something that Pierce needs to address.

    After 4 innings 4-2 Texas. K-State got 2 runs on 5 hits. The most hits given up by Sthele in a game (8) no walks in the game and 2 run. LBJ is in to start the 5th. Texas 4th: 4 runs and chased the starter after he throws 30 pitches and gives up 4 runs on 5 hits, I believe. Texas 4-2 going to the 5th.

    Thru 3 complete it's a scoreless game.

    Game 2 has started nothing doing in the 1st. Looks like little to no wind to carry hard hit balls out.

    Texas comes back to win the game 6-5. Texas has won 16 straight at home. This is becoming a Okie Lite and Texas race for the conference as OSU is at 7-3 and Texas is at 5-2. Game 2 on Saturday at 2:30 PM and game 3 is Sunday at 1PM.

    K-State left their starter in too long. 5 runs on 5 hits and a sac fly to go ahead in the bottom of the 8th for Texas at 6-5. After 8 complete 6-5 Texas.

    The wheels are falling off in the top of tje 7th. 2 more runs score on a squeeze bunt as both runners score. Now a triple. 1 at 3rd with 2 outs in the top of the 7th.

    Top 7th. Gordon done for the night. His line 6 innings: 2 run, 2 hits, 3 walks, 9 strikeouts. Andre D. comes in and walks the 1st 2 batters. K-State starter also has 9 strikeouts tonights. K-State gets a run on an error by Andre bad throw to 1st on a bunt. Now 3-1. K-State still batting in the top of the 7th with guys now on 2nd and 3rd no outs.

    Thru 4 complete still 2-1. Gordon gets thru the top of the 5th. He is at 93 pitches- only 1 hit given up and has 7 strikeouts, but the walks and hit by pitch is hurting his chance to go long in the game. Maybe not if he can get another quick inning in the 6th.

    Thru 3 complete 2-1 K-State. Gordon has thrown over 70 pitches thru the 3 innings.

    Game 1 delayed to 7PM today due to weather. After a great throw out of runner at 3rd, Gordon gets out of the 1st with no damage.

    8 innings complete. 3-2 Texas. Can the 3 run homerun hold up? Can we add anything in the top of the 9th?

    Thru 7 complete. It's 3-2 Texas. The Texas 2nd baseball has the right to field the ball. Not interfering with the base runner. Big double play in the bottom of the 7th.

    Thru 3 complete 3-0 Texas. Not certain how long LBJ goes today. Sounded like some pitches called balls were questionable by the home plate ump.
