Bottom of the 3rd, Texas adds 4 runs inluding a run homerun from Kennedy. We have now hit 7 homeruns in the last 2 games. Kennedy has 3 of the 7 homeruns including a 2 run homerun, 3 run homerun, and a grand slam. Sthele starts the 4th inning and has a 1, 2, 3 inning. Texas leads 8-3. BTW, OSU is destroying K-State today, believe Keith said it was 17-5 OSU. Not certain if the tech and WV has started their 2nd game pr if there is a score.

In the 2nd inning. 3 gives up 3 runs. Trailing into the bottom half of the 2nd, 3-2. Bottom of the 2nd, Texas gets an RBI double to tied the game and a sac fly to get the lead back. While the 3rd out happened after the lead score occurred. Believe that O'Dowd went past the 3rd base bag on his slide for the 3rd out. After 2 comlete Texas leads 4-3. Witt went 3 innings.

We have game 3. DYLAN CAMBELL HAS A 30 GAME HIT STREAK, AS HE HITS 2 RUN HOMERUN IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 1ST. After 1 complete 2-0 Texas

Texas wins 24-3. Texas had 2 grand slams, 3 run homerun a total of 22 hits. Game 3 maybe Saturday afternoon or evening or Sunday depending upon the weather.

In the bottom of the 7th, Texas has added another run. Texas is letting alot of the younger position players get a few at bats. Probably will see some of the young pitchers for the 8th and 9th. Thru 7 complete Texas leads 19-3

Texas has put a 10 spot on the board in the bottom of the 6th. Texas leads 18-3. K-State wins the 1st game in the OSU series. Eric Kennedy gets his 2nd homerun in the game this one is a 3 run homerun.

Top of the 5th. LBJ has a few hits and gives up his 1st walk. San Jose State scores 3. Texas leads 8-3 going to the bottom of the 5th. BTW, tech beat West Virginia in their 1st game of this weekend series.

After 2 complete 8-0 Texas. Eric Kennedy leads the team with 13 homeruns including a grand slam in the bottom of the 2nd. Dylan Cambell has a 29 game hit streak going into tomorrow's game.

Game 2 has started. LBJ has a quick top of the 1st inning. Bottom of the 1st and Texas has so far sent 9 batters. It's 3-0 Texas still batting in the 1st.

Texas wins 10-5. Still issues with the bullpen pitchers in the late innings. Learn nothing against what amounts to 3 patsies over the last 4 weeks in midweek games. Now can we sweep another patsy in San Jose State this weekend amd hope that K-State takes 2 of 3 from Okie Lite and can tech take 2 of 3 from West Virginia to make the final weekend worth playing for the comference.

Bottom of the 5th. Texas adds 4 runs. 1st 2 hitters get on base, sac bunt moves them over then get a hit to bring both in. Then Jared Thomas hits a 2 run homerun. After 5 complete Texas leads 8-2. Shaw comes in to start the top of the 6th.

Hurley has issues in the top of the 5th. The 1st 3 hitters get hits to load the bases, but Texas gets a double play ball. UTA scores a run. The next guy hits another hit to score the 2nd run. Then WP to let the base runner get to 2nd base. A pop up to end the top of the 5th. Texas leads 4-2 going to the bottom of the 5th. If Hurley's night is over, 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 or 4 strikeouts with 1 hit by pitch, but 0 walks. Believe he had a 2 to 1 ratio or better strikes to balls.

Powell hits a solo homerun in the bottom of the 1st, but a base running error might have caused us to not get another run in. After 1 complete it's Texas 1-0

Last midweek game of the season. Charlie Hurley gets the start. Hopefully he finds his early season success. There is rain in the area of Austin. Hurley has a quick 1st inning of work.

Texas gets the win 7-6. Texas takes the series. The adventures of the LATE INNING relief pitchers for Texas continues as they allowed the game to get close and use 3 pitchers to get the win. -

Thru 7 complete 7-4 Texas. Kansas does get a run back in the bottom of the 7th. Sthele went 5 and 1/3 innings in relief. Shaw came in to get the final 2 outs of the 7th. -

Texas wins 6-2. Whitehead allows 2 to get on before getting 1 out. After getting tje bases loaded, then Andre D. comes on gives up 1 hit then gets 2 strikeouts.
