  1. It's not the prestige of South Carolina. He turned down bigger money. To wait on Texas. I just don't see him choosing LSU over Texas AND USC.
  2. Sorry don't believe it. Herman didn't turn down South Carolina to wait for LSU. It's Texas.
  3. There really should be no other choice if Charlie gets axed

  6. Baylor rape victims say the university told women who attempted to report their assaults that their parents would be informed of their alcohol or drug use under the student conduct code and in some circumstances were themselves charged with code violations, according to the Associated Press Baylor’s student code banned dancing until 1996 and only last year removed “fornication,†“adultery,†and “homosexual acts†from its official list of misconduct. Victims say Baylor even punished women who tried to report assaults that happened to other victims: One woman said her case began when she called police to report a physical assault on another woman at an off-campus party. Police demanded to know if she was underage and had been drinking, then arrested and reported her to the school office that investigates conduct code violations, she said. She told Baylor officials her drinking was a result of being raped a month earlier and detailed what happened in person and in a letter. She received an alcohol code violation and told to do 25 hours community service, and when she tried to appeal, the woman said Baylor officials urged her to drop it. The school never pursued her rape claim. “I was told by many Baylor staff that they couldn’t do anything for me because my assault was off campus, yet they had no problem punishing me for my off-campus drinking,†the woman said. Universities are required by federal law to investigate sexual assaults, whether they happen on- or off-campus, and feds informed Baylor in 2011 that its conduct policy may have a chilling effect on sexual assault reporting. Being caught drinking alcohol is cause for expulsion under Baylor’s student conduct policy. Pepper Hamilton’s report cited the policy as “creating barriers†to victims reporting their assaults, due both to fears of being punished and those of parental informing.

  8. It doesn't stop. Good Lord....No way the media can sweep this under the rug..
  9. This week, I spoke to Paula Lavigne from ESPN’s “Outside the Lines.†She told me of at least four women that she knows of, personally, who have yet to come forward with allegations of assault at Baylor. Their alleged attackers are football players who haven’t been named. As bad as it is at Baylor, the ugliness could be far from over. ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, who also joined my satellite radio show this week, said Baylor coaches could face criminal charges, including obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence, as a result of their attempts to cover up these crimes or hinder investigations. http://gridironnow.com/college-footb...use-like-mine/

  11. His coaching is disorganized. Arkansas, TCU, ND, Iowa State.
  12. Strong is the one who keeps shooting himself in the foot. It's always something with him. Just doesn't seem to be the right fit in the big 12. Being disorganized is not a good trait.
  13. ^ well doing something about it would include winning. So don't be mad. Strong brought this on.
  14. All I know is Herman has more wins in his FIRST year than Strong does in two.
  15. You want to talk about schedules when Strong got shut out by Iowa State.
  16. I should have said in his FIRST year.
  17. ^UH beat the number 9th ranked team in the country. So I'm sure they would have done fine with UT's schedule.
  18. Strong came to the Big 12 with little value of offense. That is inexcusable.
  19. I mean, how many times does he get to screw things up?
  20. I won't even rub it in your face when Strong fails next year too. Sirhorns...
  21. I actually enjoyed Briles losing due to what he did back in 2008 voting against UT. So I don't know what you are talking about in being a Briles defender, he was a moron for not running the ball more. But whose team has more coaching failures this year? It was your source who said a while back that Strong would be out. It's funny though. Anyone who doesn't like Strong makes you upset.
  22. And he still played. And played well. When Heard takes a hit he is out of the game.
