Texas Homer's Achievements

  1. Had a conversation with some of my aggie relations this morning and I let them gloat and brag for minute...whosnext and wrts and all of that. I was like so your celebrating keeping a recruit who happens to be a legacy and who had no intentions of going anywhere else and who reaffirmed he is part of the aggie cult? Good for you and now let me tell you what really happened...Sumlin was played by this kids dad and he gave them everything they were asking for including what was left of Sumlins dignity. I finished with the odds are the kid never steps foot on Kyle field because come June in the MLB draft this kid is more than likely going to be drafted in the top 5 in the first round but least he reaffirmed he was an aggie!
  2. Nobody cares that they are just deflated footballs and I dont believe they changed the outcome of the game. Its the fact that once again the Patriots have been caught cheating and the perception is that the NFL will once again slap them on the wrists and destroy the evidence. You say so what its just a deflated ball and I a say well the rules are pretty clear about the football pressure and tampering with the balls once they have been approved by the refs and its obvious that the Patriots tampered with the balls. The NFL already has an image problem and it will only get worse if they keep letting teams like the Patriots cheat and skirt the rules. Just my humble opinion my friends!
  3. I never said anything about big foot my friend...lol...I would classify my experiences as more of the supernatural kind.
  4. Having grown up in East Texas and hunting and fishing on Caddo Lake since I was knee high to a grasshopper, I can say I have seen some strange stuff and frankly I seen some things that scared the hell out of me. So I dont judge when I hear someone saw something because I remember what its like to be on the other end of that and everyone thinking your crazy.
  5. 1983...first cub scouts camping trip. Good times
  6. it seems her attitude changed when she realized that she was being recorded and is trying to play it off.
  7. I will be spending time between my hunting camp on Caddo Lake and our hunting camp in Cross Roads starting this weekend and ending next Sunday evening. I will take some time to destroy some turkey and all the good stuff that goes with it and watch some football but the majority of the time is dedicated to finishing up filling my freezers.
  8. I have 3 scary movies that scared the hell out of me as a kid and still bothers me today. The first being the exorcist...as a young Catholic kid this movie was terrifying and to this day I cant watch any movies that have possessions or demons in them. 2nd was Stephen Kings IT....this movie and book has led to my irrational fear of clowns which I still have to this day and last but not least is the original Howling...growing up on a ranch in BFE and having huge tracts of woods by the house and our nearest neighbors being about 5 miles away this werewolf movie scared me on so many levels and I still get the heebe jeebies when I go to my deer stands in the dark sometimes....saying all that I still love scary movies!
  9. I do love deer....in sausage, hamburger, steak, stew and so on. I dont even know how to respond to your post because it is so ridiculous....I started hunting when I was 7 years old and I am still an avid hunter today and I have had the pleasure of teaching my two daughters to hunt and I look forward to the day when I get to teach my twin boys. I am not a trophy hunter and I am not raising any, we hunt for the meat that we eat year round and we hunt so I can teach my children survival skills just like they were taught to me and my father and his father and so on. I sleep a little better knowing that if things went bad my kids would be able to survive off the land and be self sufficient....and I sit here and read that you think its murder I cant help but feel sorry for you that you apparently never experienced the joys of hunting.
  10. I think he has the potential to be a great qb for Texas but he has to work on his long ball. He is inconsistent with it and the offensive coordinator doesnt seem to be helping him out, I mean I really didnt see any short medium or long slant routes. KU has given everyone else the game plan on playing Texas for now on...load up the box and dare Texas to beat them with the deep ball so it will be interesting to see what we do to work on that which will open up running lanes.
  11. So do I Juan Grande....Great with the kids, damn good watch dogs, crazy as hell but they are damn good dogs.
  12. I am kind of curious as to why this post was tagged as disrespectful? I think it was probably done in jest and maybe stir the embers to create a rivalry but thats just me.
  13. Bitches please, I have been married for 15 years to an Aggie, I know sarcasm like the back of my hand! LOL I guess y'all don't recognize when someone else is being equally sarcastic in a post, I guess I will have to work on that.
  14. Did y'all even bother to read the OP's entire post before you started the douche bag bs? He said that he hadn't been on the site since it went premium and today was his first time back and he was surprised that Crossfire was gone and then boom with the douche bag comments. Embrey whatever you don't voice your displeasure with Crossfire being gone or you will be ridiculed for it or that's what I have observed as a forum stalker.
