After a slow start that left the Longhorns down two sets, #2 Texas won three straight against #15 Washington to advance to the NCAA Regional Finals. Unable to find a rhythm and plagued by unforced errors in the first two sets, the Longhorns allowed the Huskies to easily defeat the favorite. However, the Big 12 champion clawed their way back to clinch the third, and steamrolled the Pac-12 Champion in the fourth. Texas led throughout the tie-breaking fifth set to seal the game. On the shoulders of top-performer, Logan Eggleston, the team demonstrated why it dominated the NCAA all season with only one loss. The Longhorns will face the winner of #10 Nebraksa and Illinois on December 11 at Gregory Gym.
