It was another active day in the transfer portal as 3 Texas players announced they would be leaving the 40 acres. Defensive lineman Jordon Thomas, wide receiver Kelvontay Dixon and wide receiver Dajon Harrison entered their names into the transfer portal on Friday with the May 1st deadline fast approaching for players to enter the portal and still be eligible at their new school.
Thomas re-joined the Texas this spring program after missing the 2021 season due to personal reasons. Dixon recorded 9 catches in two seasons but fell on the depth chart this spring with the addition of Isaiah Neyor and Jordan Whittington returning from injury. Harrison sat out the 2020 due to Covid-19 concerns and appeared in one game in 2021.
