The Texas Longhorns wrapped up their annual scrimmage on Saturday night at Darrell K. Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium in a non-traditional format. There was no score kept and players had the opportunity to showcase their growth after fourteen Spring practices, culminating in a scrimmage for the fans. While head coach Steve Sarkisian made mention of how the team still has room to grow, he was happy with the progress to-date.
"Clearly we're not a finished product. There's plenty of work to be done, but we're moving in the right direction."
Texas will open the season, Sarkisian's second with the Longhorns, at Darrell K. Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium on September 3rd against Louisiana-Monroe.
