Texas will be without one of their best defensive players for the first half on Saturday as DeMarvion Overshown's targeting penalty was upheld by the NCAA, as first reported by Horns247.
Overshown was ejected this past Saturday at the beginning of the fourth quarter against UTSA for a hit on Frank Harris on a would-be sack. The officials on the field did not call the penalty, but the replay booth buzzed down for the play to be looked at it was determined Overshown's hit was targeting.
