Andrew Jones and Dylan Disu were among 247 college players who filed as early entry candidates for the 2022 NBA draft. It is not known if either player hired an agent, making them ineligible to retain college eligibility. Players who do not hire an agent have until June 1st to withdraw from the draft if they wish to return to college.
Jones just wrapped up his 6th season at Texas. The redshirt senior averaged 11.2 points this past season and has college eligibility remaining if he wishes to use his Covid year. Disu, who transferred to Texas last offseason from Vanderbilt, missed part of the 2021-2022 season while recovering from a knee injury. The 6'9 forward ended up playing in 26 games, averaging 3.7 points and 3.2 rebounds.
In addition to Jones and Disu, Courtney Ramey also filed for the NBA Draft. Ramey entered the transfer portal earlier this month and will not hire an agent.
