Did you notice how Oregon ran their tailback into coverage to take away Santos from QB draw play. Seems they game planned well. Had we an answer for his designed runs( Like a real live safety for a spy) we could have been in this game. The pic sixes and Mariota's running were the difference in the game. Gonna talk to my old coach buddy tomorrow.. I will try to bring some more X's and O's to the board after hearing his thoughts.

If it wasn't for Jeffcoat, Reed, and Brown it would have been an epic beat down...oh and Mariota tweaking his leg.

An interesting observation. . would have liked to see Edmond out there. . .his speed would have helped.. .

 

Defense allowed 16 points. . .we were in that game. . .but like Baylor. . .we lacked the ability to sustain the offense. . .

 

My biggest disappointment of the season was our inability to be creative offensively. . .and my biggest pre-season "blown call". . .

Thought the defense played well

 

Motion creates a read for the QB

 

When he sees the MLB running with the RB then the QB reads Man. Against a mobile QB you really have to play a lot of zone to try and get all eyes in the backfield.

 

Mobile QBs create a TON of problems.
