ESPN serves up SEC propaganda

It seems Paul Finebaum & SEC blogger Chris Low are joined at the hip on Saban ain't going anywhere. Low's latest drivel basically says Texas is dreaming. It's amazing that the so-called dream just won't die. For once, I'd like to see ESPN just report what's actually happened to this point and stop putting an SEC spin to everything. FWIW

I don't disagree very much. Keep in mind these his aren't "reporters". They are opinion/editorial folks. Sportscenter will "report" but anything else is opinion like Bill O'Reilly/Chris Matthews/Anderson Cooper. They are paid to form opinions and debate them, they are not paid to report.

Yep. And the more ridiculous/absurd they are and the more positive/negative attention they get the better (see Skip Bayless, he has this act down to a T). It's. All. About. Clicks/Eyeballs/Ratings. $$$$.

And just like MBTF, it will continue as long as there is no accountability. Does anyone really believe Finebaum will retire?? Doubtful.

Even guys in the SEC realize that the only agenda for ESPN is to drive up ratings. To some extent, it caters to what it thinks it wants SEC fans to hear but it hasn't realized that even the SEC fans want real news, not just "fluff" pieces.
