Doubtful any houses have been purchased just yet. Why? Well Saban himself was actually in Austin out at Lakeway viewing at a $13M pad earlier this week.

Not to sound like the Grinch here but why would someone who is in financial troubles be looking at a $13M home? Austin has great property taxes and you get a lot of bang for your buck here, why spend so much on a home? For $13M you are talking 10k sq ft and like 8-9 bedrooms. that is way overkill for just Nick and Terry. This just does not sound legit to me.

With all due respect, SG, I believe this is incorrect. A house in Lakeway could have very well been looked at by Terry, at one time, but earnest money has already been put down on a house and it wasn't in lakeway. Keep on posting, however, as I enjoy reading them.

Saban has been working ths week, not looking at houses. The Bama boards are pretty good about updating where he is and what recruit he is with. He was in the Washington DC area today doing his job.

The title of the post said yesterday so that is what I went with. Since the Saban to Texas rumors have heated up I have spent a lot of time on Bama's 247 site. They have a good thread on the board that puts where he has been each day this week along with twitter remarks by the recruits. He has been typical Saban, all work this week. I know that Saban doesn't have to come to Austin or even Texas this week to talk to the guys that he needs to talk with about the UT job.

I believe Nick would leave the house hunting to Terry. From what I've read about them, he'd likely just ask her where to show up on moving day. That said, she's obviously been here at least a couple of times.

Their son and daughter in law moved there recently. They sold their lake house in Ga and bought some property in Baton Rouge last year. My guess is they are looking for summer homes near their son and future grandkids
