Since we have a new army here, thought this would be a good way to get to know one another.

Im Whisenant, Content Manager of Horn Sports, which pretty much means I write, I entertain, and try to think of ways to make this place better. Im also a contributor to the rivals website InsideUTSA.com

Fiancee is a 2005 grad from UT. Been a Longhorn since the cradle, and working hard to make sure my kid follows step mom to the 40 acres.

I also do a lot on our Facebook page, which I encourage you to "like" if you havent seen yet.

Sound off people.

Andy (AKA Bird)...Native Texan from San Augustine, Texas originally. I am a Veteran of the USAF and during this time I learned that Dutch for Hook is Hoek...hence Hoekem. I went to UT from 81-83 and I have twin sons that are currently Seniors at UT. I am all about anything UT.

I don't post often but, I love Inside Info...I followed McPhaul over here and I am glad to see Shaunsters post here as well.

I cruised the streets of Hyde Park in a SAAB back in the mid 90's when I was at UT and raised a lot of hell and drank a lot of beer. Prior to moving off-campus I spent my nights at Jester East eating terrible cafeteria food and conversely eating every lunch meal I could at Kinsolving to ogle the beautiful women. I spend as much time as I can now away from my wife and I love a mean whiskey and a nice pork tenderloin. I am a Charles Bukowski fan and listen to The National nonstop - every minute of every day.

Greetings Gents,

Please allow me the honor of introducing myself to this "totally cool" website. My name is Winston Malveaux, and I grew up upon the suburbs of Beaumont, TX. My parents made certain that I had the opportunity to attend the Hamshire-Fannett ISD. Elementary School..."Littlehorns".....Middle School..."Shorthorns"....."High School"...."Longhorns" (Get the picture) my "Horns" have been "up" all of my life.

Moved to Houston in the very early 80's, and later graduated from Texas Southern University. I have been employed for several years as a government contractor as per Fluor Daniel Government Projects. I have worked basically all over the Theater of Afghanistan for the US Military. No matter how exhausting or how excruciatingly dangerous....I simply love it.

Gentlemen please trust me upon this.... there is no better site to focus upon, than to admire the HCN's (Host Country Nationals) of Afghanistan...walking around from day to day wearing their burnt orange Texas gear.

Basically every camp that I have worked at....I leave a very big impression upon the locals in regards to the Texas Longhorns. They root for them like crazy whenever we are able to view games upon the military networks. I have spent a small fortune on ordering tshirts, momentos, souvenirs, ....everything Texas....they have to have it.

So, when you lay down to sleep tonight...please place a smile upon your face....and just bare in your heart ....that when it comes to the Texas Longhorns.....it is not just the eyes of Texas....

Name is Scott. Born and raised in Houston. Went to UT from '89-'91 and UT Houston Medical School '92-'96. Am an interventional neuroradiologist by training but currently am Medical Director for Multiple Sclerosis for a major pharmaceutical company. Live in the hell that is Cleveland, OH with my wife (native Clevelander) and two daughters but support the Horns unquestionably (just ask all my neighbors). Looking forward to the day we eventually move back to the Great State (whenever that may be).
