The Texas Longhorns (2-0, 0-0 Big 12) are a four touchdown favorite against the Wyoming Cowboys (2-0, 0-0 Mountain West) in Saturday's contest at Darrell K. Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium. Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns are riding high after the upset win over the Crimson Tide last week, but the celebrating is done as they host a very capable Wyoming team lead by head coach Craig Bohl.  Bohl is in his 10th season in Laramie and is the longest tenured coach in program history.

Wyoming started the season with a bang at Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium, upsetting Texas Tech in the season opener for both teams.  They have their sights set on another upset this weekend, but the task will be tall as the Longhorns are ranked in the Top-5 and the Cowboys have never beaten the Longhorns.  The history of the series between the two dates back to 1974 when Wyoming made the trip to Austin. Texas won the inaugural matchup 34-7 and the 'Horns and Cowboys went on to play four more times, with only one meeting taking place in Laramie (2009).

The Longhorns could be without starting running back CJ Baxter who left the Alabama game in the 4th quarter with an injury. Baxter is considered to be a game-time decision by head coach Steve Sarkisian.

All eyes will be on the Texas to see how they respond after the big win in Tuscaloosa last week.

I rewatched the Bama game again focusing on the O-Line. We should be able to impose our will on the Cowboys running the ball. This O-Line played the Alabama defense to a draw on some plays at worst last week and dominated on others, that isn't an easy accomplishment.

Run, run....deep ball

Run, run...dink and dunk

Rinse and repeat.

Longhorns are no longer a punchline but have taking their rightful place of relevance by winning. Let’s keep it going and show the rest of college football that we are not a flash in the pan, we are Texas and we are coming with horns up to shake up the college football world.
