All but one of the linup today was batting over .300 she as at .275.

One senior plays LF. 4 jrs. How can theybe this good? They should be rebuilding after last years losses.

You can't really compare baseball recruiting and roster management to softball. Softball players aren't going straight to the pros out of HS, they aren't choosing Jucos over 4 year schools, they aren't leaving after their junior years. You also have a much smaller roster, position players plus only 4 pitchers.

Now second in the conference overall. Tied in the loss column with Ok State and they still have OU to play. 

We have a weekend off and then Baylor to close out the year. Ok state would have to beat OU more times than we beat Baylor to pass us.

All the things you say that effects base ball recruiting did not happen  over nite. Smaller rosters are easier ti fill but does it maker easier to field a better team?

We could go on and on. Bottom line is soft ball coach is doing a better job than base ball's.

Some thing is wrong with the pitching coach in selection of relievers. Look attodaysgame and several others.. Sorry got of topic.

They could maybe squeak out 1 win but that's about all any team out there can hope for against OU.

Ladies down 3-0 in third. Bears have thier hitting shoes on. Still time to come back. A loss tonite will put a lot of pressure on tommorow's game .

These two losses to Baylor are putting the teams chances of a top 8 overall seed in jeopardy.

The sweep drops Texas' RPI to #11. They may have lost their chance to host a super regional. 

Big 12 tourney starts this week. A win over Tech and Oklahoma State would likely mean a final against OU. If they can get those first 2 wins maybe they are back in the conversation for a top 8 overall seed.

Rankings and RPI have Texas anywhere between 5-10th. Will be interesting to see how the seeding works out. Of course a top 8 seed is huge to have the opportunity to host a super regional.

It pains me to say but ou is just too good in softball not to win it all again this year. The bright spot for Texas is we have a lot of freshmen playing this year who will be coming back.

I don't follow softball recruiting, but I also heard Texas has a great to elite class coming in next year to add to the returners.

Softball was given the 13 seed overall. 

It is really beyond me how that is the case given every ranking and RPI have them between 5th-10th.

Second year in a row their seeding is insultingly low.

I heard before that Coach White isn't well liked outside of Austin, could the NCAA be making a statement?

Yes, #13 is pure bullsheet. Texas finished ahead of okie lite during the Big XII season, tournament and swept them yet they are the #6 seed overall?
