So you're attributing his failures to outside factors, not on him. Interesting. Not.

If I were QE, I'd find a couple other targets who will do what they're coached to do in case Hollywood decides to continue his 2022 ways.

Sure Ewers overthrew him and he is leading the catches. But he regressed and drop some balls. 2023 is a big year for him.

For both of them and Whit and Sanders.

we gonna be good

Just think about the talent at the skill positions on offense. The WR room is arguably the deepest in the country. A draftable TE and excellent depth at RB. IF QE struggles with all that then Sark has a decision to make in season.

Apparently divisions are likely out. And the 1 permanent opponent with 7 rotating games doesnt work well for multiple reasons - like Texas can't play A&M and OU every year, etc...

It will be 9 games and with OU, Arky and aggy as rivals.

Who on this board actually believes UT will get their butts beat in the SEC?  Put aside your emotions, if you can, and try to be objective.

I suspect with UT being the richest school in America and arguably the richest alumni, that UT will literally be able to start taking away the bought mercenaries of the Bama's and the rest of the SEC cheaters - now that we can do so legally with the NIL.  I have heard this is one of the reasons the SEC became more palatable to the UT powers that be.  In other words, our money gives us an edge if not an equal playing field.  Just what I have heard.  :)

It’s a given that I don’t know as much about football as the guy’s on here, but I know quite a bit about injury and athletes.

Soft tissue injuries are notoriously unpredictable and take longer to heal than bone injuries. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Ewers played through some pain last year, at times more than others. Worthy didn’t do him any favors.

I found myself yelling at the TV to throw it to Sanders or Whitt because I was so annoyed.

Hook ‘em!

IMO, the key to the Longhorn team this year is the OL.  And, friends, we are LOADED at this position.  We literally have savages there. Barring injuries, we will bully more than a few teams.

The last time I saw a OL this good is when Casey Studdard played - we won a natty that year.

I loved Studdard and Sendlein. The whole crew.

This is what we've been missing for so long

I hope you are right, but we can't even win the B 12.

Those have been the historic rivals. I think that it’s quite possible that new rivalries will form, and wonder how that will impact scheduling when the SEC grows to 16 teams.

Four 16 team super conferences. How long ago was that discussed?

Hook ‘em!
