He’s not playing lol, but…. Or, is he?!?!

“Texas QB Quinn Ewers (clavicle sprain) is on the field for a pre-game workout in shirt/shorts. I've been told he'll be back far sooner than people expect.”

Sark is playing this to the end. 4 QB's all in full uniform warming up. Quinn is only tossing the ball short.

24 Hours to go, just saw the 4 UTSA buses heading into town with a police escort on 35, not a long ride.

We still don't know the QB1. Either way this UTSA team is somewhere between our last 2 opponents. We have a sold out crowd, but UTSA should have a good attendance too.

Texas 42-17

Winner winner chicken dinner.

What is the criteria for who wins? I guess since no prize it doesn't really matter,  although declaring a winner seems like it would be fun.

I would think  difference between the predicted score and the actual score for the 2 teams added together, but if you predict the wrong team winning you can't win even if your scores are closest.

I predicted two turnovers and a non-offensive TD.

I would also add I think our defense totals 4 sacks

My other prediction was 200 total rushing yards. With Card playing, I do think we will rely on the running game but they will also have to respect Card's throwing ability.

Only 1 turnover, though there were a couple of balls on the ground that we couldn't recover. We did get the non-offensive TD.

1 sack I believe after the DTD strip sack. DO had a sack, and honestly one that I think in retrospect should be official once the targeting call is hopefully reversed. Sacks were hard to come by but apparently Pro Football Focus credited us with 32 QB hurries. That is on 40 pass attempts so a really incredible rate of getting pressure.

Nearly 300 rush yards!

That many pressures should have resulted in multiple turnovers or incompletions, but Harris was amazing under pressure.

Seemed like the game plan on the first few drives was to just contain him in the pocket but they really picked us apart with that. That strategy wasn't helped by the soft coverage and poor tackling early.

We seemingly switched the approach to try and pressure him more, play tighter coverage, and fortunately the tackling improved quite a bit.

He did seem to be on the run most pass plays, but he's really good in that role, and nearly impossible to tackle.

Funniest instance was Vernon Broughton bringing pressure, sees him pump fake and thinks the ball is gone. Harris is within arms reach of Vernon but he has stopped going after him because he thought he had gotten rid of the ball.
